Real Housewives of New Jersey Casting Changes Coming Posted: 17 Oct 2013 12:02 PM PDT There’s already a drama-filled new crew on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season, and now, it looks like The Real Housewives of New Jersey will undergo some big casting changes, too.  Caroline Manzo officially announced she wouldn’t be returning for Season 6, but new reports say she’s not the only one! Jacqueline Laurita is rumored to not be returning for the next go-around, either — and she’s also been on the show since Season 1. Meanwhile, the fates of Teresa Giudice, Melissa Gorga and Kathy Wakile are still up in the air. Teresa is currently facing major legal issues, after being charged with a 39-count indictment that could land her in prison for 50 years. Her trial is set for Feb. 2014, and although filming begins well before that, the cameras might be an unwelcome distraction. With the loss of Caroline, and possibly Jacqueline, though, come some fresh, new faces! It’s reported that twin sisters Nicole and Teresa Napolitano have already begun filming scenes for Season 6, and their friend Amber Marchese is expected to be joining them. Jonas Brothers Delete Twitter Account: Are They Breaking Up? Posted: 17 Oct 2013 11:08 AM PDT Twitter can be very telling these days, and today, the social media site could be giving us another hint that the Jonas Brothers are breaking up! The band’s account has been deactivated, with a message reading, “Sorry, that page doesn’t exist!” popping up instead of their status updates. The deletion comes just a week after Kevin, Joe and Nick Jonas announced that they were canceling their tour just two days before it was set to begin on Oct. 11. A spokesperson for the band cited creative differences regarding the direction of their music as the reason for the last minute change. However, with the Twitter account being deleted, it does seem like an official breakup is certainly looming. As Star exclusively reported this week, Joe’s secret drug addiction could also have contributed to the rift. All three of the brothers’ individual Twitter accounts remain intact, however, none have tweeted since news broke about their canceled tour. The JoBros aren’t the only celebs to make changes on the social media site recently. Khloe Kardashian recently dropped the “Odom” from her display name, leading to speculation that her divorce from Lamar Odom is not too far off. Additionally, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth stopped following each other just days before news of their split broke. After back to back pregnancies, Jessica Simpson has barely had any time to relax for the last two years — until now. The 33-year-old and her fiance, Eric Johnson, are currently enjoying a vacation on the island of Capri, off the coast of Italy. From the newly released photos, it looks like the couple’s two kids, Maxwell and Ace, are nowhere in sight, giving mom and dad a break for a few days. The vacay spot is reportedly special to the duo, as it’s where they went on their first trip together. Because of that sentiment, it’s rumored that Jess and Eric are scoping out wedding locations while on the trip. They had planned to get married sooner, however, after the singer’s surprise second pregnancy, the wedding was put on hold. Could it finally be time?! On Tuesday, the singer posted an Instagram photo of herself on the beach, holding daughter Blue Ivy, in which she showed off long, blond locks. The long hairstyle comes after she debuted a pixie cut followed by a short bob in August. However, because she’s still on her Mrs. Carter World Tour, the 32-year-old has been wearing her extensions — longer hair is an integral part of her performances. Currently, Beyonce is in New Zealand for the tour, but she’ll soon come back to America to wrap things up. The tour concludes on Dec. 22 (after months) at the Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn. Blake Lively Returning to the Big Screen After Acting Hiatus Posted: 17 Oct 2013 08:06 AM PDT It’s been a fairly laid back year for Blake Lively, who has taken a brief hiatus from acting as she acclimates to married life with Ryan Reynolds. The couple tied the knot in September 2012, and soon after, the actress’ TV series Gossip Girl came to an end. Since then, she hasn’t booked any new acting jobs — until now! It was announced this week that the 26-year-old will star alongside Oscar winner Ellen Burstyn in the film Age of Adaline. In the movie, Blake will play a woman, born in the early 20th century, who stops aging after a near-fatal accident. She launches on a century-long, worldwide journey that continues until she meets a man she’s willing to lose her mortality for. Last month, the actress hinted at the new role to Vogue UK. “There’s a movie that I’m really excited about that I’m doing this winter and one of the most enticing parts of it is that it spans from the 1900′s until now,” she explained. “The fashion is amazing, and my character gets to experience all of the different time periods and tell the story through fashion. It’s not a movie about fashion, but it’s an integral part of who she is and the whole story.” The last time Blake appeared on the big screen was in the 2012 film Savages. Glee Ending After Season 6: What’s Next Without Finn? Posted: 17 Oct 2013 07:22 AM PDT Season 5 of Glee is just getting underway, but creator Ryan Murphy is already thinking about the show’s endgame. On Wednesday, he revealed that the show will end after Season 6 (as was always his plan), but he’s had to change things around after the sudden death of Cory Monteith this summer. “The whole [last] year of the show — which will be next year — was really designed around the Rachel (Lea Michele)-Cory/Finn story,” he admitted. “I always knew that. I always knew how it would end. I knew what the last shot was — he was in it. I knew what the last line was — she said it to him. So when a tragedy like that happens you have to pause and figure out what you want to do.” However, Ryan added that he still has a pretty good idea of what changes he’ll make to the original plan. “I think it’s very satisfactory and in his honor, which I love,” he explained. Last week, a tribute episode for Cory aired, in which original cast members, including his real-life and on-screen girlfriend, Lea, sang songs dedicated to the late actor. Overall, the emotional hour garnered positive response from fans. The show will return from a brief hiatus on Nov. 7. Bachelor Couple Sean Lowe & Catherine Giudici Getting Six Figures For TV Wedding Posted: 17 Oct 2013 06:58 AM PDT Even if Bachelor Sean Lowe and his winning lady Catherine Giudici didn’t want to televise their upcoming wedding…this deal would be pretty hard to turn down! The lovebirds will reportedly get paid six-figures to say “I do” in a special airing on ABC — that’s in addition to the million dollar ceremony the network is helping them plan. On Monday, the couple announced that they’d be tying the knot on Jan. 26 and that they would share their nuptials with the world. Bachelor host Chris Harrison will also host the special, and Lesley Murphy, who competed against Catherine to win Sean’s heart, will serve as one of 12 bridesmaids. After getting dumped by Emily Maynard on The Bachelorette, Sean returned as The Bachelor and chose Catherine at the final rose ceremony. The duo moved to Los Angeles together after the show aired, while the 29-year-old competed on Dancing With the Stars. Now, they live separately in Dallas, where they hope to settle down together after the wedding.
