One year after Superstorm Sandy: A mixed recovery Posted: 28 Oct 2013 07:00 PM PDT One year after Superstorm Sandy ravaged the coasts of New York and New Jersey, the recovery has been mixed. Some residents have rebuilt and others are participating in a buyback program instituted by New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to return some neighborhoods to nature.
