Sculptural art installation 'Karma' by Do ho Suh Posted: 28 Nov 2014 05:30 AM PST The 23 feet high sculptural art installation at the New Orleans Museum of Art has figurines perched on top of one another blinding each of them with their hands. The sculpture forms an arc that seems to extend into infinity. The sculpture is titled 'Karma' and has 98 figurines cast from steel squatting on top of each other forming a ladder. A smaller version of the same sculpture made in bronze is also displayed at Albright Knox Museum. Korean sculpture Do ho suh is known for using repetitive technique with human figurines in most of his works. |
