Incredibly realistic drawings made with Ballpoint pen by Samuel Silva

Portugal based self taught artist Samuel Silva uses Ballpoint pen of various colors to create these highly realistic drawings. Since only limited color tones are available in Ballpoint pen he uses cross hatch technique in various intensity to create lighter and darker tones. To complete one picture it takes around 30 to 40 hours of work. Samuel works as a full time attorney and only in his free time he draws as a hobby. He is proficient in many medium including chalk, acrylic, oil, pencil, color pencil and pastels.
