The colorful bark of the rainbow eucalyptus tree looks like an abstract Pollock painting

Posted: 12 Nov 2014 07:00 PM PST

The bark of a Rainbow Eucalyptus tree looks like an abstract painting with dabs of bright colors here and there. The Rainbow Eucalyptus tree sheds its skin throughout the year in patches, the fresh patch is green in color which then changes into blue, purple then orange and maroon. The pattern of color on the trunk changes throughout the year, i wish someone comes up with a time lapse video or a gif capturing the color changes.
