Beautiful paintings and charcoal drawings of people in solitude by David Kassan

David Kassan paintings show people lost in their thoughts, he paints portraits of his family and friends set against a weathered grey background often covered with old advertisements and graffiti. The subjects seem to be lost in their emotion, unaware of the viewer. Apart from the technical mastery of David Kassan with oil paint, what these paintings express are the subtle emotions of his subjects. His charcoal drawings also carry the same emotional solitude, similar to his paintings.

David has a BFA degree from Syracuse University College, New York. His work has been exhibited across North America and London in Solo and Group exhibitions.
